I wanted to take a minute to share my story and why I’m so passionate about helping busy moms like you get leaner, stronger, and more confident—without giving up your life in the process.
I grew up an athlete, but like many of you, I lost my way in college and went through the whole all-or-nothing cycle for years.
I’d go hard, be “good,” then fall off and gain the weight back—over and over again.
I tried everything: keto, fasting, paleo—you name it.
But nothing stuck.
I even prepared for and competed in a bodybuilding show - the extreme restriction from that really did a number on me mentally.
My biggest struggles came during my 3 pregnancies, where I found myself eating everything in sight and feeling completely lost.
I knew how to lose weight, but applying it in real life was a different story.
What I didn’t have were sustainable habits around fitness and nutrition, and extreme restriction always led me back to square one.
In 2020, during my grad program in exercise science and sports nutrition, I found a balanced approach that changed everything.
No more extremes.
Just a few core habits—strength training, prioritizing protein, daily movement—done consistently, about 80-85% of the time.
And guess what?
I can finally enjoy weekends, social events, vacations, and life without stressing about undoing my progress.
Now, I feel confident in my skin, vibrant, and full of energy for my kids.
I don’t waste time stressing about food or my body, and I don’t feel held back by my weight or self-judgment.
